Approx. 320 (360, 420) yards fingering weight yarn.

Gauge
32 sts & 46 rounds = 4” in stockinette stitch in the
round.

I have been into knitting socks from top to bottom for many years! I thought the sock knitter was in this or that camp, that it was just personal preference and I prefer to knit socks from top to bottom. It turns out that this is not entirely true, some designs of socks and threads are better for constructing a toe.
